Thyme & Table
At a glance
Thyme & Table is a kitchen and home brand sold at Walmart, with cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, drinkware, appliances and lifestyle products. We built their direct online store and the structure that keeps a very large range easy to shop.
The goal: Help shoppers find the right product quickly across hundreds of items, and give them the confidence to buy higher priced appliances online.
The challenge
- The catalog covers Prep, Cook, Serve, Drinkware, Appliances and Lifestyle, each with many subcategories.
- Some people shop by category (a skillet) and others by moment (hosting dinner), so navigation had to work both ways.
- Appliances like espresso machines cost more and need proof before people buy.
- Existing owners needed help with manuals, registration and replacement parts without calling support.
What we did and why
- A menu that mirrors the kitchen. A mega menu built around Prep, Cook, Serve, Drinkware, Appliances and Lifestyle gets shoppers to the right collection in one or two clicks.
- Recipes that sell the tools. An Original Recipes section shows the products in use, which gives people a reason to browse beyond the product grid and a reason to buy the pan in the photo.
- Proof where the price is higher. Customer testimonials sit next to the appliances, where hesitation is highest.
- Self service support. A support hub with FAQs, how-tos, product registration and replacement parts answers common questions and keeps owners loyal.
What we delivered
- Multi-level mega-menu navigation organized around Prep, Cook, Serve, Drinkware, Appliances, and Lifestyle.
- Dedicated collection pages for Cookware series, Kitchen Appliances, Dinnerware, and more.
- Original Recipes content section connecting products to real kitchen moments.
- Customer testimonials for high-ticket appliance purchases.
- Support hub with FAQ, How-tos, Product Registration, and Replacement Parts.

How we measure success
A launch is the starting line. These are the numbers we watch in Google Analytics 4 and Shopify for a project like this, and the ones worth tracking on your own site:
- Clicks from the menu into collections, and how many searches end with no result
- Conversion rate on appliance pages compared with the store average
- Visits from recipe pages to product pages, and support hub usage
Lessons you can use
- With a big catalog, navigation is your salesperson. Group products the way your customers think, not the way your warehouse does.
- Show your products in real life. Recipes, room photos and how-tos sell better than a white background.
- Put reviews right next to your most expensive items. That is where buyers hesitate.
When your catalog is wide, clarity is your advantage. We build stores that make a big range feel simple, so every product finds its buyer.
