Blurred Lines Entertainment
At a glance
Blurred Lines Entertainment is Yanko Hernando's entertainment company for weddings and events. People book Yanko for the energy he brings, so we captured it on video, built his website around it, connected it to Google Analytics in real time, and put the same footage to work on Instagram.
The goal: Show couples and event hosts the energy Yanko brings before they ever meet him, and make booking him the easy next step.
The challenge
- Yanko's biggest selling point, the energy he brings to a wedding, is hard to put into words or photos.
- Couples compare a lot of entertainers and need to feel sure before they reach out.
- There was no clear picture of how many people visited the website or where they were coming from.
- Social media got attention, but it wasn't steadily sending people to the website to book.
What we did and why
- Capture the energy on video. We filmed Yanko at weddings so people see the dance floor fill up and the crowd react. The footage shows couples the night they want for their own wedding, and that is what helps them know they want to book him.
- Real-time Google Analytics. We linked his website to Google Analytics, so Yanko can watch his traffic in real time and see which areas his visitors are coming from.
- Instagram as a salesperson. The videos were, and still are, used on his social media. With the help of Instagram ads, his account now works like a salesperson, bringing customers to his website.
- A frictionless path to booking. His homepage gives visitors multiple places to get in contact, so the moment someone is ready, reaching Yanko and booking him for their event takes no extra steps.
What we delivered
- Wedding and event videography capturing Yanko's energy, edited for his website and social media.
- A website built around that video, with pages that load fast on phones.
- Multiple ways to get in touch and book, placed throughout the homepage.
- Google Analytics connected to the website for real-time traffic and where visitors are coming from.
- Instagram ads running the wedding footage to send new customers to the website.

How we measure success
A launch is the starting line. These are the numbers we watch in Google Analytics 4 for a project like this, and the ones worth tracking on your own site:
- Booking inquiries per month, and whether they came from Instagram, search or a referral
- Website visitors in real time and month over month, and the areas they come from
- Instagram ad cost per website visit and per inquiry
- Video views and how much of each video people watch
Lessons you can use
- If people book you for how you make them feel, show that feeling. Real footage does what a description can't.
- Good video keeps working long after the event: the same clips can run on your website, your social media and your ads.
- Put more than one way to reach you on your homepage, so booking takes one tap whenever someone is ready.
- Connect analytics from day one so you know where your customers come from and where your ad budget pays off.
Entertainers get booked on a feeling. We capture what it's like to have you at an event, then put it everywhere your next customer is looking: your website, your social media and your ads.
